Coffee Farmer Training to Japan

In order to improve skills of the members, KSU POM HUMBANG sending a farmer to ARI -JAPAN ( The Asian Rural Institute Japan http://www.ari-edu.org/en/home-eng/.) for 9 months Leadership and Organic Farming training in Tochigi Ken-Japan.

Lampita Silaban ( in charge of marketing and farm organizer)  has been working for her lovely  community in Nagasaribu Village, Lintongnihuta, Humbanghasundutan, North Sumatra for more than 7 years. Together with 31 participants from all over the world across ASIA, AFRICA, PACIFIC, CENTRAL AMERICA, She will work,living together and  learn many skills and opportunity. On December 2014, she will be back to our community and love to share all the good learning she got to her peoples in our community.

Sending the members was our aims in improving human local resources of farmers/members. We have a lot of chance by collaboration with partners ( NGOs, School institution, Business partner, Churches ,Local Government).
